Last Night in the Hangar

Original Post Date: December 15th, 2006

IAN BROOKS tried to fly the AS-4cr in the old hangar on Kingsway last night. The model is too fast for the area (33 paces x 46 paces) and sidesliped into the floor in a steep bank. The difference in preception between indoors and outdoors is quit striking. The model didn’t seem all that fast outdoors and Ian had no trouble keeping it close. Indoors, it was down the hall in no time flat at half throttle. The only damage was a small flat spot on the lower left side of the nose but the front of the battery was squashed.
